Some of these are designed to run in secure virtual environments, and therefore lack certain security features you may be accustomed to.

That is "not my problem", but it might be yours. Be smart and know what you are executing on your machine pls

Topic Creation

make_topic.sh

  • make_topic.sh - BBCode forum topic post creation script, requiring minimal user setup & input. Focuses on clarity, consistency & accessibility in its final presentation - alongside accuracy, speed and reliability in it's data processing

  • tag_db.txt - BBCode tag database. Portable to any script with a basic grep function - a simple way to maintain consistency across posts and still remain easy to customize and expand

  • topic_db.txt - BBCode template database. Relies on awk to select a template 'block', then sed to search for placeholder strings within that block and replace them with data gathered from make_topic.sh

  • mad_make_topic.sh - Plugin for MAD (v2 hook PostSuccessfulUpload) that automatically handles links file creation & directory setup for make_topic.sh

  • VCS*NIX 1.13.4 is called to generate contact sheets for video files, and for topics with more than 25 videos a custom built function creates a montage of single still frames together in one large image file

Other Useful Scripts

MAD_wrap.sh - Wrapper script to control MAD uploads. Can generate unique uploads.txt with either preset or interactively entered hosts list, check it is correct in a text editor, then spawn a new MAD instance uploading it - all in a single command

make_7zenc.sh - Create encrypted archives based on preset values, with various runtime switches for extra functionality
